Handover Official Overseeing Political of General Technical Department

(LPAN) On September 22, 2026, there was ceremony handover Official Overseeing Political of General Technical Department between Brig. Gen. Saysamone Xaiphoubane (Old) and Brig. Gen. Khampheng Boualabat, (new). The ceremony was presided by Maj. Gen. Chomphet Xayasouk, Director of the General Technical Department; there were Party- Command Committee, officers and combatants taking place.
At the ceremony, a memorandum was signed officially handing over the duties of the Official Overseeing Political of the General Technical Department between the old and the new.
This occasion, Maj. Gen. Chomphet Xayasouk spoke to the newly, increase their leadership and guidance roles, educate the military and soldiers in politics and ideology, have strong political qualities, have a strict leadership and command structure, improve and build the force to be strong and comprehensive, focus all their wisdom, knowledge and abilities into carrying out the assigned political duties, and continue to develop the department for positive transformation.
