GPD Presents Retirement Allowances to Retiring Officers

(LPAN) On July 31, 2026, the ceremony to present severance pays to retiring personnel from the General Political Department (GPD). The event was presided over by Maj. Gen. Douansavanh Sayphimkhampathoum, Deputy Director of the General Political Department (GPD); Col. Bounkham Sunanthang, Vice Head of the Political Office of the General Political Department, approved the decision of the Law on LPA Officers and Social Security regulations of the Ministry of National Defence, compensation was awarded to 03 retiring officers. namely: Lt. Col. Mudam Sulixay, Vice Head of the Military Trade Union Office, Lt. Col. Anusit Bobaykham, Head of the Party Organization Department of the Political Office, and Lt. Col. Sivicay Malichan, Assistant to the News Network Department of the Lao People’s Army Newspaper.
On this occasion, Maj. Gen. Douansavanh Sayphimkhampathoum commended the retirees for their dedication to national defense and unit development. He urged them to continue being role models for the younger generation and to actively contribute to local security and order in their communities after retirement.
