Lao People's Army Young Officers Receive Vietnamese Counterparts

(LPAN) On July 5, 2026, a delegation of young officers from the Lao People's Army, led by Lieutenant Colonel Souliban Sorbphabpanya, Deputy Head of the Army Youth Department, welcomed a delegation of young officers from the Vietnam People's Army upon their arrival at Wattay International Airport. The Vietnamese delegation, which is visiting the Lao PDR from July 5 to 14, 2026, is led by Captain Le Hao, Deputy Head of the Vietnam People's Army Youth Department and Head of the Vietnamese Young Officers Delegation.
The visit of the Vietnamese Young Officers Delegation to the Lao PDR aims to facilitate bilateral exchanges and experience-sharing between the young officers of the two armed forces. This initiative is designed to ensure that the next generation of officers deeply understands and continues to foster the long-standing special solidarity and cooperation between the two nations and their respective armies, while strengthening mutual learning across various fields.
