SPMH reviews its defence mission operation

(LPAN) On June 29, 2026, Sekong Provincial Military Headquarters (SPMH) recently held a meeting to review its defence operation in the first half of this year and approved a further plan for second half of year. The meeting was presided by Brig. Gen. Thongsi Kunsana, Military Chief Commander of Sekong Provincial Military Headquarters, with comrades from the Party Committees-Command Committees of 5 organizations, Party Committees of 4 City, and there were officers-combatants taking place.
This occasion, Col. Khemthak Phuyapraseuth, head of the Sekong Provincial Military Commander Office, briefly summarized the defence operation implementation having carried out by all personnel in the Sekong Provincial Military Headquarters over the past six month. In the first half of the year, military personnel in the Sekong Provincial Military Headquarters have fulfilled their mission in maintaining peace and security and implementation of four major work plans and 26 projects issued by Ministry of Lao National Defence Party Committee, according to the report from a local military information officer.
