GSD congratulates Minister of Defense

(LPAN) On March 26, 2026, Lt. Gen. Saychai Kommasith, Director General Staff Department (GSD) and his delegation brought a basket of flowers to congratulate Gen. Khamleng Uthakaisone, Minister of Defense. The congratulatory visit was to express congratulations to Gen. Khamlieng Uthakaisone for being appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the GSD, Lt. Gen. Saychai Kommasith wished the Minister of Defense and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense good health, complete peace in their personal and family lives, and success in duties for the Party, State, and the Lao people of all ethnic groups, and continued to guide and lead the army in general and the GSD in particular to grow stronger, advance, and become more modern.
This occasion, Gen. Khamlieng Uthakaisone expressed his gratitude for the visit of Lt. Gen. Saychai Kommasith and wished all the officers and soldiers of the GSD good health and success in their duties, continuing to protect and develop the country, and inherit the fine traditions of the army to complete their assignments in the short and long term.
