Consul General of the PRC to Northern Laos Visits Luang Prabang Provincial Military Headquarter to Offer Well Wishes

(LPAN) On January 15, 2026, Comrade Zhang Sheping, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China( PRC) to Northern Laos in Luang Prabang, and his delegation presented a flower basket to the Luang Prabang Provincial Military Headquarter on the 77th anniversary of the Lao People’s Army. They were warmly received by Col. Thongla Xayavongsak, Military Chief Commander of the Provincial Military Headquarter.
The Consul General stated that the visit aims to strengthen the bonds of solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and China. He reflected on the long-standing tradition of mutual assistance that has existed since the wartime era to the current period of peace
Col. Thongla Xayavongsak expressed his sincere gratitude and highly valued the visit, which demonstrates the close and caring relationship between the two nations. He wished for the traditional friendship and cooperation between the Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and China to remain eternal and everlasting.
