OPMH Helps Relief People Affected from Flooding

(LPAN) On August 31, 2026, the Oudomxay Provincial Military Headquarters (OPMH), led by Brig. Gen. Touy Phommeexay, Political Chief Commander of OPMH, dispatched 226 officers and 6 military trucks to help people affected from flooding in Xai, La, and Namor districts, Oudomxay Province.
Military personnel were deployed to clear debris, dispose of waste, scrub floors, organize household belongings, and repair damaged homes and infrastructure to restore normal living conditions in the affected areas.
In addition, the leadership actively encouraged officers to maintain high morale and diligence, reinforcing the strong solidarity and unity between the military and the people a bond traditionally described as "fish and water."
