(LPAN) On August 25, 2026, the Military Command Center 761 held a meeting to review defence operation in the first half of this year and approved a further plan for second half of year. The meeting was presided by Col. Phoukham Khamthongbay, Deputy Director of the Air Defense Department of the General Staff Department, with members of the Party Standing Committee, Party Committee-Command Committee, and there were officers-combatants taking place.
Lt. Col. Sengphet Phengdavongsa, Deputy Military Chief Commander of Command Center 761, presented the report detailing major accomplishments during the past six months. In the first half of the year, the Command center evaluated its personnel and recognized outstanding Party members 83 officer, strong Party members 2 offiecr, outstanding members under the "4-Breakthrough" Youth Campaign 69 officer, members rated Grade I in the "3-Good" Women's Campaign48 officer, members rated Grade II 6 officer, and units designated as "3 Good" 4 units, and maintaining 24-hour specialized standbys to ensure safety and stability100%.
Then, the participants of the meeting took turns to add comments to the summary and plan direction to make the content more complete, and they also listened to the remarks of the Chairman.
