(LPAN) On May 8, 2026, There was ceremony haned over Head of Administration Office of General Staff Department between Col. Sisangiem Oudom (Old) and Lt. Col. Viengkeo Boualaivan, (new). The ceremony was presided by Lt. Gen. Saychai Kommasith, Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff Department, there were Party- Command Committee, officers and combatants taking place.
At the ceremony, a memorandum was signed officially handing over the duties of the Head of Administration Office of the General Staff Department between the old and the new. This occasion, Lt. Gen. Saychai Kommasith spoke to the newly, increase their leadership and guidance roles, educate the military and soldiers in politics and ideology, have strong political qualities, have a strict leadership and command structure, improve and build the force to be strong and comprehensive, focus all their wisdom, knowledge and abilities into carrying out the assigned political duties, and continue to develop the department for positive transformation.
