Division 5 Leadership Visits Champasack Province Public Security Forces Ahead of Anniversary

(LPAN) On April 2, 2026, a senior delegation was led by, Brig. Gen. Khamkod Insina Political Chief of Division 5 of the Lao People’s Army visited the Public Security Headquarters in Champasack Province, They were received by Col. Sivilay Keopaseuth, Deputy Head of the provincial Public Security Headquarters to extend congratulations ahead of the 65th (5-4-1961 - 5-4-2026), anniversary of the Lao People’s Public Security Forces.
Brig. Gen. Khamkod Insina praised the Public Security Forces for their achievements over the past 65 years, highlighting their key role in maintaining political stability, peace, and public order—factors essential to national socio-economic development.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and solidarity between Division 5 and provincial public security forces to effectively address social challenges.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination in tackling social issues and maintaining stability.
Col. Sivilay Keopaseuth expressed appreciation for the visit and the continued support, noting that the gesture reflects strong ties and mutual respect between the armed forces and public security sector.
