5th Division Launches 2026 Training Course in Military, Political, Logistics, and Technical Affairs

(LPAN)The opening ceremony was presided by Col. Bounsom Inthala, Military Commander of the 5th Division, and attended by Lt. Col. Khonsavan Keokhamphone, Deputy Director General of the Training Department of the General Staff Department. Key personnel and leadership from various regiments, battalions, and independent companies were also in attendance.
The training aims to implement higher-level orders with a focus on practical application and high-quality results. The goal is to develop skilled and proficient personnel capable of fulfilling their duties effectively in all circumstances. This year’s curriculum prioritizes hands-on experience to ensure concrete results within the division.
A review of the 2025 emulation campaign was presented, followed by the announcement of the 2026 competition goals. To demonstrate their commitment, representatives from various units took part in a formal pledge (handshake ceremony) to ensure the effective and high-quality implementation of these emulation targets in their respective units.
