(LPAN) The First Training on Propaganda Tasks for entire army hosted by Vientiane Capital Military Headquarters was conducted September 18, 2017. Attending the training were political officers from main force and local force in central region which the Deputy Director General of the General Political Department, Maj. Gen. Sonethong Phomlavong, honorably took place in the opening ceremony and there were the Party-Command Committee of Vientiane Capital Military Headquarters and invited guests taking part in.
(LPAN) A lecture to memorize the 15th Anniversary of Veterans’ Union Establishment Day was held at Ministry of National Defence on September 15, 2017. Taking part in listening to the lecture were Deputy Ministers of Defence, Directors General and Deputy Directors General of four general departments, Ministry Office, Directors and Deputy Directors from Departments, Academies and prominent military officers.
(LPAN) Documents regarding to internal defence tasks were disseminated to military personnel in Regiment 279 on September 12, 2017. The event was held under the chairmanship of its Political Chief Commander, Lt. Col. Bounnhang Keodamsy, and there were all levels of the Party-Command Committees from military units around the regiment, prominent officers and military personnel taking part in.

Somphong Pheangpanya, visited and pushed military youths’ development in Southern Province of Sekong to successfully carry out 4 major missions and 26 projects along with building 3 free units, building up strong units, comprehensive leadership party units and cultural units.
(LPAN) An annual military training for new recruits was conducted at Local Military Scholl of Attapeu Province on September 11, 2017. The opening ceremony was honorably taken part in by the Military Chief Commander of Attapeu Provincial Military Headquarters, Brig. Gen. Kanyai Xayyasith, and there were commanding officers, invited guests, instructors, trainers and all trainees taking place.

(LPAN) A Gas Station Construction Project at Logistic Academy was started opening for service on September 6, 2017. Taking part in an official opening ceremony were the Director of Military Fuel Department under the General Logistic Department, Col. Somchay Phethavongsy, on behalf of the project owner, the Director of PP Construction Co., Ltd, Mr. Phonechanh Phengsouvanh, on behalf of the contractor, by the witness of the Party-Director Committee and officers from offices and units around the academy.
